I purchased this Garmin because my brother has one, and after watching his work, I was amazed! Bluetooth and all. He has the 200 series. I purchased the 700 series (Nuvi 780).I drive for a service company. I was getting around with the online mapquest on my laptop via wireless. What was I doing wasting my time! Now all I do is input the information on my Garmin and it takes me exactly where I need to go without a blip. When I initially purchased this item almost a month ago and had no service calls, I drove around trying to get it to fault, just to give me a reason to take it back and get a full refund. Guess what! I'm keeping it. The automatic re-calculation is amazing! Just when I think it can't re-calculate and it's confused, it makes a fool out of me! Yes, there was two ocassions where it sent me to the wrong street number, but it definitely took me to the right street. It's not 100% but definitely 99.9%.I use it every single day to find companies by names, address or even find the nearest stores or banks. All I can say is amazing! And I have'nt even mentioned all the other features it comes with. I don't leave home without it.Now, all I need to do is convince my boss to pay for it under my yearly tool allowance..."

LOVE IT!! I travel on the road alone and need it so I don't have to constantly ask directions in locations I wind up finding myself lost in. I was going to get the 200 series but sine I love audio books, and I want to know what restaurants aand hotels are near by, I purchased the 780. My mother is more relaxed about my being on the road now and so am I.

The product is fantastic. Easy to set up and use. I live in a small eastern NC town and the MSN coverage does not reach me. But when I travel it will definitely be a benefit. I would buy this 780 again

This is a great and accurate device. Never have to worry about getting lost. Adding MSN Direct makes it an even more worthy device by giving you extra local information at your hands. Plenty of nice built-in options are standard. With this device, you will not be outdated anytime soon.

A lot of research on various web sites led me to Garmin and finally the Nuvi 780. The unit recognized the satellite signals in a matter of seconds and is very easy to program. I was interested in the 'Where am I' function since my family travels quite a bit and being able to locate local hospitals and police stations across the country was a major selling point. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in purchasing a GPS unit. I actually caught a sale on Amazon.com which was $200 off the regular price which is the best deal I have found.

I had the Nuvi 660 for about a year and half and no complaints with that unit. Great unit. I decided to upgrade to the Nuvi 780. Another great unit with some good additional features that the 660 didnt have. The MSN direct is a nice feature. Where am I is another good feature. It has a slimer design and no flip up design compared to the 660. Only one problem was that it took me on a totally different way out of the way route to my mother in laws house where as the 660 gave me the most direct way.If you can get this unit under $550 and get a online discount of 10% like I did, it would be a worthy investment.

The Garmin 780 is an excellent tool. We traveled a long distance the first time I used it. We traveled at night with Severe Weather in the area, The 780 let me know what type of Severe Weather there was in the area as I was traveling. The MSN Direct was the keeper feature with the 780. I would highly recommend the 780,even if you spend a little extra, well worth the investment.
